Festival Overview
The Arcángel Film Festival, is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization, Tax ID 47-4962212, dedicated towards elevating the human condition through movies that inspire audiences to take social action. We seek to discover, promote, and screen films that tell admirable stories with uplifting themes that embody Gospel values, in short, Movies with a Mission.
The Arcángel Film Festival organization strives to demonstrate an example of unity and a message of collaboration in the arts, community service and social awareness by committing itself to advancing the dialogue and cooperation between members of the media, filmmakers, and the public through our festival events. Your tax deductible contribution will directly support AFF’s festival events include film screenings, hosting a networking and ministry fair, and providing educational workshops centering around the power of the media to raise awareness; elevate the human spirit; and inspire people to get involved in service to humanity. The festival will encourage filmmakers to tell admirable stories with uplifting themes that embody Gospel values.
The 2021 festival themes are: faith building family and faith providing a sense of home. This year’s theme is inspired by Our Lady of Guadalupe and her role as a symbol for unity. Our Lady of Guadalupe inspires us to build bridges between all people and as a mother she welcomes everyone into the family of Christ where all have a home.

The attendee make up of the festival has been heavily comprised of individuals who are actively involved with or looking to get involved with social action groups such as charitable organizations and ministries focused on bettering the lives of others.

4. 63% of female Millennials were influenced to accept a job based on the company’s cause work.
5. Company-wide giving campaigns are the initiatives Millennials most commonly participate in.
6. Millennial employees prefer joining a company-wide or team-specific volunteer project rather than donating to a giving campaign.
7. 78% of Millennial employees prefer doing cause work with a group of co-workers rather than individually.
